Here's what I WILL draw for commissions:
  • Artistic Nudes, "Sexy" pics (lingerie, pinups, swimsuits), & Cuddling / Kissing / Sensuality
  • Fan Art and Fan Characters (image references required)
  • Original Characters (image references required)
  • "Conceptual Art" for your stories / favourite scenes.
  • "Caricatures"/Bust Illustrations, Pets, Family, Friends
  • Others to be added as I come across them.

  • Here's what I WON'T draw for commissions:
  • Hardcore Porn / X-Rated / NSFW pieces.
  • Realistic Art - My style doesn't cater to it.
  • Original characters WITHOUT IMAGE REFERENCES. NO DESCRIPTIONS-ONLY PLEASE.
  • Anything with Flash. I'm not familiar enough with it to be confident in my skills.
  • Others to be added as I come across them.

How long have you been drawing / been a designer?
Honestly, I don't remember a time I haven't been drawing. I've always been a traditional artist by trade, and to me holding a pencil is as natural as eating. At least 25 years, give or take a few years.
I've been a graphic artist for over 10 years in print media design.

What media do you use?
As I've stated above, I am a traditional artist, most comfortable with markers, pencils, and pen and ink. I draw mostly on cardstock, but I do also like using marker papers and mix media papers as well.
I have only recently started venturing forth into the digital realm, using a WACOM Intuos Pro tablet with Photoshop CS3. I'm not as well-educated in digital media, but I am learning new techniques each time.
My ultimate goal is to be skilled enough to warrant a purchase of a Cintiq, but that is a long ways away, and am quite content learning with my WACOM tablet.

Are you a qualified designer?
Yes. I have a diploma in Graphic Design from an accredited Ontario College, and my current career is a Graphic Artist in print media. I design ads for my local newspaper and occasionally posters, logos, signage and web graphics either for said newspaper or on a freelance basis.

How long will my commission take?
This depends on the complexity of the work. It can take anywhere between a few days to a couple of months. Smaller commissions generally take less time: for instance, Busted Head Commissions are done quickly because there is less work involved, while FULL PAGE DRAWINGS require a lot more research and time to compose and colour from start to finish. DESIGN COMMISSIONS also generally take less time, but full scale projects will require at least a month. Regardless, you will be in constant contact with me during the stages of my commissions, as I will send proofs of drawings at each stage for approval to move on to the next stage, and proofs of the layouts of design commissions.

Can I post my purchase online (on my blog/website)?
Yes, but I would please appreciate a link back to either MY WEBSITE, MY TUMBLR or MY deviantART. I also post all commissions up online, so please do ask first if I have a link I can give to you, as I do prefer to have my watermarks on the work so people won't claim they did the work for you. As well, please do not remove any copyrights or signatures. I would also love a link to where it is on your site, so that I may point other people to my satisfied customers. I may also add you to my LINKS PAGE to help promote your website!

Will I get a hard copy (of my illustration)?
All traditional art being mailed out will come with a FREE 8x10 PRINT. Please refer to my COMPLETED WORKS for pricing info on obtaining prints. Digital work does not come with hard copies unless you purchase a print. HOWEVER, ALL WORK does come with a hi-res TIF or PNG file (~400dpi and up) without watermarks. Please see my ILLUSTRATION WORKS page for more info.

What are your payment methods?
Paypal or online bank transfers are preferred, since the invoices are generated automatically. International money orders also accepted but not recommended due to past issues trying to cash them. Work on all commissions not be started until at least half of the payment has been received unless you are a trusted returning customer. Hi-res proofs and shipment of finished product will not be sent if payment is not in full. Additional fees for design work may be billed after completion of the project to account for any additional unforseen hours of work or issues, purchases of stock photos, etc.

Are refunds available?
Refunds are available ON ILLUSTRATION WORK ONLY and ONLY IF I CAN RESELL IT (ie. original characters cannot be resold, therefore no refund) so I can keep track of where my work is going. Work must be shipped back to me before refund will be issued, shipping cost will not be refunded. Please send a copy of the original invoice so that I may send you the exact amount back. DESIGN WORK WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AND SALE IS FINAL.
